“Lighting the seas to save the ocean.”
On March 29, 2018, ChemActiv proudly joined the Batalang Bato Management Council in their mission: “Muling Ibalik ang Kasaganahan ng Karagatan” (Restoring the Ocean’s Abundance).
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we donated a solar-powered light to Oceana Philippines, a dedicated non-LGU organization focused on marine conservation. This small but meaningful act was our way of supporting their ongoing efforts to protect and restore the ocean along Ocean Drive.
A Beacon for Conservation
Oceana Philippines has been tirelessly working to safeguard marine ecosystems, combat pollution, and prevent illegal fishing. Our donation of a solar light aimed to help their nighttime conservation efforts, including marine monitoring, coastal cleanups, and educational initiatives.
Why Solar?
At ChemActiv, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Solar energy is a clean and renewable resource, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing much-needed illumination for conservation activities. By “lighting the seas,” we hope to empower those who dedicate their time to saving the ocean.
Moving Forward
This initiative is just one of many steps in our commitment to protecting marine life and promoting sustainability. By working alongside organizations like Oceana Philippines, we strive to create a brighter, more abundant future for our oceans.
Together, we can restore the ocean’s abundance and ensure its beauty for generations to come. 🌊💙
